Enugwuabo has a heritage deeply rooted on Education. Western Education came with the arrival of a Missionary from Sierra Lone named Mr. Heggings in 1909. Enugwuabo has two secondary schools, namely; Community Secondary School Enugwuabo and Incubator School. It also has two public and two private primary schools namely Primary School Enugwuabo, Community School Ike Na Agu, St. James Primary School and Great Success Creative School. It is worthy of note that the first formal school in Enugwuabo commenced at Africa in Umuopia.
