The Nkwo Eze market in Enugwuabo is famous for its fresh agricultural produce. The market now operates as a daily market. It was initially hosted on Nkwo days which is one of the days in the traditional Igbo 4-day week. Small scale industries like bakeries, oil mills, agro-industries, table water, block molding industries, quarries etc also abound.

In the hospitality sector there is the much loved Top Class Hotel and Bar amongst other establishments where you can lodge. There are also many eateries where people relax with friends after a hard day’s job.

Over time the people have transitioned from farming and civil service into various areas of endeavour where our people have also shown the enterprising spirit we are known for. We are proud of our people who have distinguished themselves in these fields. One of the key players in the Nigeria banking industry and former President of the Nigeria Stock Exchange, Dr. Raymond Obieri, is a proud son of Enugwuabo. Another is DCM Victor Nwokolo fdc of the FRSC and current PG EOU likewise Prince Dr. Chinedu Okeke of the Anambra State University Uli. In other fields, Enugwuabo has produced many professionals who have made their mark in their chosen field. One of such is Justice Chinyere Okeke former Director Public Prosecution, former Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice, Anambra State and retired Justice of the Federal High Court. Enugwuabo has also produced an Honorable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in the person of Hon. Barr. Chima Okafor (Oduenyi) who currently serves in the board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
